The school catering is provided by Alliance in Partnership (AiP). A wide variety of meals are provided every day to suit the busy lives, diets and preferences of our pupils.
At break time the selection may include cookies, bagels, fruit or the ever-popular baguette pizza. Lunch time sees a full range of hot meal options, vegetarian food, jacket potatoes, pastas and sauces, salad bar and sandwiches.
Special menus are regularly introduced to celebrate cultural events and to encourage pupils to try something different. This term so far we have seen fruit smoothies being made in a bicycle-powered blender and a Mediterranean-themed gazebo with a specialist chef at the grill.
Payment is via our ParentPay system so that parents can carefully monitor their child’s consumption and expenditure. There is no risk of dinner money being lost or mis-spent as we have a biometric fingerprint scanner for all payments, pupils only pay for what they choose.
We welcome feedback via the Dining Room blog board and there is a Catering Committee that meets each term to discuss the pupils’ questions.
