King Henry VIII Preparatory School is part of the Coventry School Foundation and provides education for children aged 3 to 11. Part of our remit is to prepare all our pupils for entry to King Henry VIII Senior School at the age of 11. King Henry’s is an independent grammar school and, as such, academic standards are high. Entry to the Prep School is selective after the age of 5.

There are presently 500 pupils at KHPS spread over the two campuses. Children aged 3 – 7 are educated at Swallows and those from 7 to 11 are based at Hales. The school was inspected in February 2016 and found to be ‘excellent’ in all aspects of its work.

KHPS is a flourishing school with beautiful grounds and facilities. It is also a busy school with a very supportive staff team.
