As one of the leading independent schools in the area, working at King Henry VIII is thoroughly rewarding and we welcome job applications for both Teaching and Support Staff roles from appropriately qualified, talented and inspiring people.

If we currently have no vacancies, we always welcome speculative enquiries by post and email: info@khviii.net.  All such communications should be marked for the attention of the Headmaster, Mr Slack, at the Senior School.

Current vacancies are listed below, together with Application Forms for Teaching and Non-Teaching roles. All candidates should use the school's application form and refer to the notes about the recruitment process. Application by CV only will not be accepted.

Applications submitted for a job vacancy will be acknowledged and shortlisted candidates will be contacted soon after the closing date and invited to attend for interview.  Unsuccessful candidates will be notified, in writing, following completion of the interview process.

King Henry VIII School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
