Parents' Association Gardening Project

A wonderful start

On Saturday 7th November a band of very enthusiastic parents and one headmaster began the Early Years Gardening Project. Armed with £1500 from the P.A. and under the leadership of Mr Nick Smith and Mrs Karen Francisco, a small group of parents spent several happy hours beginning to create a garden which will give generatiions of children at Swallows a great deal of pleasure and the opportunity to explore the outdoor world. A fantastic start was made and we should like to thank all parents who attended. However, there is still much left to do in the next few weeks and any parents who feel they can give up a couple hours on a Saturday morning would be very much welcomed next week and in the weeks to follow.
