Year 4 Play: Jungle Book

On Wednesday 17th March our Year 4 pupils performed their annual production. This year it was Jungle Book, an adaptation of Kipling's famous story. The production itself was a super piece of cross-curricular work on the part of the teachers, having links with the study of India in Geography also Art, English and Music. Four long poems about the animals, which were performed in the play, were written by the children themselves and the background music was composed by other children in Year 4. The result was a swirling mixture of music, dance, singing, acting and movement. It was absolutely fantastic!All costumes and props were made by the staff.

This was a magnificent team effort which was thoroughly enjoyed by the parents who came to watch but, more importantly, those who loved giving the performance - all the children in Year 4!
