Miss Caroline Soan, Deputy Head Swallows

Miss Caroline Soan joins the staff of King Henry VIII Preparatory School in September 2011. She is a music graduate and qualified as a teacher in 1991. She began teaching in several state schools in the London Borough of Greenwich. In 1997 she moved to Blackheath High School Juniors, a Girls’ Day School Trust school. Here she held the post of Head of Key Stage One. Throughout her career she has taught Reception to Year 3 and has coordinated Humanities, Music and Key Stage One literacy as well as chairing an Eco Committee and leading Charity Events.

Miss Soan is returning to be closer to her family roots in Shropshire and is looking forward to pursuing her passion for cycling and watching cricket.
