Charlotte Byrne was educated at Saint Martin’s School, Solihull, before studying Primary Education at the University of Central England. She graduated with a BA (Hons) degree with Qualified Teacher Status in 2009 specialising in English. She is qualified to teach in the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. Her teaching career commenced in September 2009 as a Year Two class teacher at Dorridge Nursery and Infant School.

In 2010 Charlotte moved to Leeds, where she has served as an Early Years teacher for the majority of the academic year.

Charlotte has a passion for Art and Design and in her spare time enjoys designing and making costumes. She has also written and illustrated two children’s books and is in the process of writing a third. Charlotte likes to spend time with her family and friends and caring for her two kittens. She also enjoys long walks in the countryside with her Northern Inuit dog.
