Jill Sutherland qualified as a teacher from the University of Warwick obtaining a 2:1 B.A. (Honours) in Art.

Before having 2 children Mrs Sutherland enjoyed success in sales, training and management within the Retail and Finance Industries. She decided to pursue a career in education after both children started their formal education.  She played a supporting role as a parent helper and special needs assistant in both nursery and primary schools prior to attending university.

Before joining the staff at King Henry VIII School in 2007 as Art Coordinator, Mrs Sutherland taught at a school in Warwick as a class teacher to Years 4 and 5 as well as coordinating RE.

Hobbies and interests include painting and sculpture, walking with her dog, squash and participating in the sporting interests of her children.
