Jane Lovell graduated from the University of Wales in 1986 and spent the next sixteen years teaching infants at King’s Monkton in Cardiff and English at Llandaff Cathedral School before moving to Warwickshire. She has spent the last six years teaching Year 2, firstly at Davenport Lodge where she was Assistant Principal and English Co-ordinator and, more recently, The Kingsley School in Leamington Spa where she was also on the Management Team as Head of English in the Junior School. Jane joined King Henry VIII Preparatory School in September 2007.

A member of the Poetry Society and Warwickshire Writers, Jane has been published in numerous literary journals and has edited an anthology of poetry and artwork for WaterAid. In her spare time, she enjoys wildlife photography and is also a keen cook. She has been a contestant on the BBC’s ‘Masterchef’ and also appeared on ‘Garden Party’.

Jane recently organised a fundraising week at King Henry VIII Preparatory School, when nearly £3,500 was raised for Save China’s Tigers.
