Jenny Colman joined the staff of Coventry Preparatory School in 1988. Prior to her appointment as a Nursery Nurse, she qualified as an S.R.N. nurse and worked in hospitals in London, Cambridge and Oxford .

In 1976 she qualified as a Health Visitor and worked in the Coventry area.

From 1988 until 2007 Mrs. Colman worked in the Nursery Department but in September 2007 transferred to the Learning Support Department to give one-to-one teaching support to children with specific learning difficulties.
