Mrs. Karen Wormald – Head of Year 1

Mrs. Karen Wormald joined the staff of Coventry Preparatory School in 1999 as a Year 2 class teacher and Pre-Prep Curriculum Co-ordinator. Since then she has held a number of posts of responsibility within the School, including Head of Key Stage One, Head of Pastoral Care and Head of P.E.

Mrs. Wormald played a key role in building the range of residential trips for children in Years 3 – 6 whilst at Coventry Prep, so that now every child in those year groups is able to participate in a residential trip every year.

Mrs. Wormald gained her degree from Bedford College of Physical Education and since qualifying in 1991 has taught at Swanhurst, Blakesley Hall Infants and Junior School and Newbridge Prep School.

From September 2008 she has served as a member of the KHPS management team.
