Miss Nicola Wood was educated in Warwickshire and attended Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls. In June 2007, she graduated from Durham University with a 2.1 (Honours) degree in Education Studies – Geography, and went on to complete her PGCE also at Durham, in July 2008.

Nicola’s first teaching post was at a small independent school in Warwickshire, where she taught Year 1. She joined the staff at King Henry VIII Preparatory School in September 2009.

Her interests outside school include playing the piano, tennis, cricket and volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind.
