Mr. Philip McGrane - Head of Extra-Curricular Activities

Mr. McGrane joined the staff of Coventry Preparatory School in April 2003.

He graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a BSc (Hons) in 1994 and gained a PGCE from Birmingham University in 1997. After qualifying, Mr. McGrane served as a class teacher and Special Needs Coordinator in a Birmingham school which gained beacon status in 2001.

Prior to his arrival at CPS he taught in independent schools in Melbourne, Australia; specialising in the teaching of Mathematics.

He is currently a Year 5 Form teacher at KHPS, teaching Mathematics and English and has responsibility for all extra-curricular activities.

In his spare time he is a keen sportsman and plays football for a local team.
