Rebecca Busby graduated with a 2:1 honours degree in Primary (5 – 11) Education from Northampton University. Her degree included training to teach all subjects but her particular subject specialism was English. Since qualifying her enthusiasm for languages has led to her serving as a subject co-ordinator of French. In addition, Music is a professional interest and she has organised and led musical ensembles, including recorder groups for children in Years 3 and 4, and even played the piano in school assemblies! Her first teaching post was in Kettering.

Outside school she enjoys sports, especially horse riding, netball, dance and ballet.
