Sharon Briggs joined the staff of Coventry Preparatory School in April 2004 to provide support for children with special needs.

Prior to becoming a classroom support assistant she had a successful career in banking, serving for 14 years with HSBC Bank.

After having a career break to look after her children she became a voluntary support assistant at Hedgerow Pre-School and Burton Green Primary School. She has recently completed and passed her ONC Classroom Support Assistant Course and NVQ 3 Assistant Teacher qualification.
