Mrs. Westmancoat qualified from the University of Reading in 2002 with a BA in Education, specialising in Music.

After teaching for a short while in a village Primary School, Mrs. Westmancoat joined the staff of King Henry VIII Junior School in 2004, where she was a Year Three form teacher. She has co-ordinated both Design Technology and Drama, and has been responsible for directing annual productions and leading Drama clubs.

She was appointed Head of Geography at King Henry VIII Preparatory School in September 2008.

Her interests outside of school include playing the piano, ballroom dancing, singing, gardening and cookery.
