After attaining a Bachelor of Education Degree from Wall Hall, Mr. Steven Dhaliwal came back to Coventry, his home town, and qualified from Warwick University with a Master of Science degree.

Mr. Dhaliwal taught at two local primary schools, Earlsdon and Keresley Grange, before becoming Director of Studies at King Henry VIII Junior School.

He has been a member of the senior management team for 6 years and has been a science co-ordinator for over 20 years as well as a maths co-ordinator in his first school.

He has had considerable success with sports, running tag-rugby and cricket teams at all the schools where he has taught. Currently he runs two extra-curricular clubs: Creative Engineering and Astronomy.

Mr. Dhaliwal has also served as a member of the Design and Technology working party for the local authority, which led him to be involved in a Channel 4 series for teachers linked to the teaching of Design and Technology.

His personal interests include sport, painting and poetry.
